What USDA Hardiness Zone Are You In?
Our new reader poll question is, what USDA hardiness zone are you in? If you’re not sure check out the USDA Hardiness Zone map.
If you’re not in North America, where are you located? I’d love to get a handle on where my readers are located, so I can come up with information relevant to your growing season.
Go vote in our poll (in the right sidebar), and leave a comment here detailing the climate where you’re located.
Have a great weekend!

I live and garden in 4b. I get some people from other zones who are surprised that we can grow tomatoes and other long season veggies up here.
Some sweet potatoes can be iffy and we can’t do pecan or lemon trees but we can grow all the non-tropicals just fine.

There is a cool interactive USDA plant Hardiness zone map at http://www.plantmaps.com. The USDA zones are broken into separate layers and displayed using overlays on google maps. They also have some native range maps overlays.
