What to do with zucchini
What, oh what, to do with too many zucchini?
1. chop them up fine and put them on the compost heap (my children’s suggestion. They don’t like zucchini.)
2. Make lots of zucchini cake and freeze it for later (the kids will eat this, particularly with ice cream)
3. Grate them into salads, hamburgers and bolognaise sauce. (Got the kids to eat them this way too - they didn’t even know.)
4. Fry them in batter. (yuck)
5. Slice them and bake on the barbecue. YUM! (didn’t work for the kids).
6. Wave them around to make men feel inadequate…
7. Okay. Out of ideas. Suggestions anyone?
