The Results Are In
The poll results are in. Where do you get your garden seeds?
35 % said they order their seeds online.
35% said they get their seeds from the local garden center.
15% said they save their own seeds.

My son loves to garden, he’s right in there digging in the dirt, and turning the compost. He’s usually more interested in checking out the earthworms than he is in planting seeds, or pulling weeds.

Children in the garden is a great topic! My girls are 18 and 14 now so this summer I don’t expect too much help. One thing they love is to go on garden tours. I know if I went on a tour they’d jump on the chance to come along.
During a tour in Ohio a few years ago I gave my younger daughter my digital camera. She took some amazing photographs. Other times I let her take the camera into our yard and tell her to hide in the bushes and photograph the birds, she loved to do that!
My guess is that they’ll be gardeners to some degree when they have their own house, how crazed they become is still unknown
