The First Snow of the Season on My Ohio Garden
Today we got the first measurable snow of the season on my Ohio garden. It was a beautiful snow, big white fluffy flakes that came down hard for a little while. I had to snap a few pics to share with you.
The trees and yard are all sparkly and snow covered. I don’t think it will last long, are temps are hovering just above freezing right now.
The last few surviving plants in the garden weren’t enjoying their snow cover.
I think it’s a good weekend to curl up in front of the window with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. My husband thinks it’s a good weekend to clean the office and do some re-arranging, sigh.
Have a great weekend.

we had our first fall today, it looked more like laundry soap and didn’t stick. :(

We had spits in with our Ohio rain, but nothing stuck at all. Can you believe it was such a beautiful day yesterday, and today it is a good stay inside and snuggle up day.

Eliza & Diana- Ours didn’t last long either, a couple hours tops, but it was beautiful while it was here. Now it’s back to dreary rain.
Peggy- We actually ended up working in the kitchen. We’re getting new appliances today (new to us anyway), so we moved the old ones out, swept and mopped, and cleaned (something that doesn’t get done often enough), and ended up not getting much done in the office:(

Hi there! It’s my first visit to your blog. I found you via A Gardener’s Roost.
Anyway, I’m with you on this one, from your pix and post, I’d say that it’s the perfect weekend to curl up with some cocoa, a good book, and a view out the window!
Ciao!

Kelly~ I always love it when we have a white Christmas (just not too white). Then I’m ready for the snow to go away, and summer to return, lol.
Tui~ Thanks for stopping by:-) Please feel free to drop by any time.
