During the summer we have mint all over one of our pastures, it was planted there by a previous owner. I love mint, my favorite is chocolate mint. In the summer I have mint tea, minted peas, and anything else I can think of to do with mint.

If you have any late season herbs in your garden, or dried in your pantry, you can make an herbal vinegar for the chef on your gift list. Herbal vinegars are easy to make, and when they’re put in a decorative bottle, with a pretty bow and they make a very nice gift.
