Yesterday I talked about planning your garden for 2010, so today I want to share a few of my garden plans for the new year. I’ve spent some time over the last few weeks reflecting on my 2009 garden, what went right, and what wend wrong. I’ve also thought about what I’d like to grow more of, and what I need less of (or none of) for next years garden.

Since 2009 is winding down, and 2010 is about to get off to a quick start, now is the perfect time to take a look at your garden plans for the new year. It’s a great time to sit down and map out your gardening goals, and plan out what you want to plant next year.

Fall is a great time to plan your outdoor spaces for next year. If you’d like to create an outdoor living space now is a great time to move walkways, create patios and decks, or map out ponds.

We’ve been planning a new patio for a couple years now, but we still haven’t taken the plunge. I do have a plan, and I know exactly what I want. It’s just a matter of getting it started.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to talk about planning your garden. This is the time of year to plan out new gardens, and remake old gardens that aren’t working. Over the next couple weeks I’m going to go into detail on some of the different types of garden you can create.
