Start Thinking About Your Christmas Creations
I know it’s hard to start thinking about Christmas when it’s only July, but… If you want to have dried, or pressed flowers, seeds or seed heads to use for your Christmas ornaments, holiday decorations, and cards you need to start harvesting them now.
I’ve been pressing and drying miniature roses, hydrangea, yellow yarrow, sweet annie, artemisia, boxwood, daisies, black eyed susans, strawflowers, gypsophelia, and whatever else I come across that may dry or press well.
I’ve also been collecting seeds so I can make handmade Christmas cards and gift tags this fall.
What are you drying and saving in your garden for Christmas craft projects?
