Small Town Recycling
I’ve discovered something about small towns, they love their recycling! We’ve moved into a town that at the last census had a population of about 750. There are one of these recycling bins on just about every block. There are four with in walking distance of our new apartment, and they are all over flowing like this one! I can’t begin to express how happy this makes me! I used to have to cart all my recyclable across town to the nearest bin, and now it’s just a short walk. Plus it makes me feel good to live in a town that cares both about the environment and about keeping their town clean. Very different from the city!

how did you get started, I’m in college and a class I’m in is going to start a recycling center in a small town near by. Can you give me some information? Thanks
