Over Potting
I recently went to visit family in Kentucky. I can’t seem to leave my gardening habits at home anymore. I spotted these outside Florence Mall in Florence Ky. Talk about over potting! It’s hard to get a good idea about the size of these in the picture, you almost have to see them in person. To give you an idea, I’m 5′5″ and I could lay down in these things. They were a bit over whelmed with weeds too, and the shrubs in them were small and weak looking, and in need of a good trim. Okay, okay! I know they were just trying to be artistic with the giant pots, but I certainly hope the shrubs get bigger because they looked pathetic compared to the pots. Not a good choice if they were trying to beautify the pavilion. Perhaps they should have planted trees instead of shrubs?!
