New Beginnings

Spring is coming in a month or two, So I suppose this is the best time for new beginnings! I was recently asked if I wanted to write a nature/garden blog, and being the nature freak that I am, I jumped at the chance to share my limited knowledge with the world! So here I am! I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself! Not much to tell. I live in central Ohio, which is a wonderful climate for all types of plants! I’m married to a wonderful man, and I have two adorable cats upon whom I lavish much praise and love! I used to be quite the gardener when I was younger. My family always planted a garden in the summer with corn, beans, tomatoes, and what ever else fancied us each season. I also had a small flower garden that I lovingly tended in our yard in my teenage years. In addition I participated in many nature conservation activities and learned quite a bit about nature in general. But alas, life has a funny way of taking us from our hobbies for a time, and I must confess that for some time I have not done anything so much as weed the beds around our apartment! But as luck would have it, I have this wonderful opportunity to do something I love again! So thanks to Christina for allowing me to remember my roots!
