More Irises in Bloom
The irises are really blooming now, purple, yellow, and white all at once. They’re making a beautiful display in my hillside garden. I have some bi-colored yellow and purple irises, but so far they’re still in hiding.
I planted them on the hillside, with the daylilies and both are doing very well. I’ve had to give away some of the irises when they’ve grown out of their boundaries. I usually don’t have too much problem finding them new homes. They do spread rather quickly, but they’re easy to pull out, and move around.
Hope you had a great weekend! It wasn’t too bad for gardening here, a little windy. I held off on putting my tomato plants out yet, because we have frost watches for the next couple days.

Your irises are lovely. They are my favorite flower.
I’m mourning the loss of most of my 100s of blooms this year from an iris borer attack. Any hints on how to prevent those little devils?

I’ve heard bleach water works, but it would scare me to try it.
