March Gardener’s Bloom Day

Daffodils peaking out of the groundI don’t have a much blooming here yet. I have a few nubbins peeking out of the soil where my daffodils and tulips are planted. We had 8 inches of snow here last weekend, so I think my bulbs are still in hiding.

My geranium I displayed last Bloom Day is still happily blooming away, and I have another geranium blooming in my living room window. Since I took a photo of the geranium last month I thought I’d share some links to other bloom day posts here. Take a looks there are some beautiful photos. They cheered me up! I hope they do the same for you.

bloomingwriter has some beautiful orchid photos.

May Dreams Garden has crocus blooms, I need to plant some of these, they’re soooo cute! (She’s also the host of Gardener’s bloom day if you’d like to find more Bloom Day links)

Garden Rant has hot pink rhododendron blooms to brighten your day.

Tangled Branches has some beautiful yellow daffodils and blue crocus, I’m so jealous! It looks like Easter there.

There are tons more photo links, just stop by May Dreams Gardens.

I hear you on the lack of outdoor blooms…but we’ll get there eventually, and all those gardeners with earlier springs can have a second spring. Isn’t it nice of us to accommodate them that way?
