How Much Money Do You Spend On Gardening~ April Poll Results

Here are the results of the April gardening poll. I asked how much money do you spend on new garden plants and seeds each year?

30% of the people who answered our pole spend $0 to $20 on new plants and seeds. 26% spend $20-$50, 9% spend $50-$100, 35% (Wow!) spend over $100.

I think I’m normally in the $20 to $50 range, I have a fairly large garden, and most of my budget goes to seeds. This year my son was selling flower bulbs, my nephew was selling certificates for flats of plants, and my other nephew was selling hanging tomato bags.

I’m easy I bought some of each. Plus my regular seed purchases. I think I’m over my normal budget, but those fund raising companies know how to get my money.  Send those cute little kids around with gardening supplies.
