Gardening Around the Lifestyles Network

Sometimes other blogs here at the Lifestyles network have some great garden related information. Here’s who’s gardening this week.

Jennifer at Tree Hugging family talks about the benefits of using organic seeds in your garden. Most of the seeds I use are organic, or I save them myself. I always have to have some of the really fun, novel, beautiful, or new things I find in the seed catalogs. I can’t resist, even if they’re not organic.

Joshua at Junk Creation thinks his post about lawn mowing will get links this spring, but I’m starting early. I agree with Joshua, you should leave your clipped grass lie. It’s beneficial to your yard. It always amazes me when people bag their grass clippings to throw them out in the trash. Then turn around and pay for a chemical company to fertilize their grass.

They’re all giving me spring fever, bring on gardening season!
