How does anyone write who does not garden? Whenever I hit a block with my other writing (www.margaretsimons.com.au) I go out, pull a few weeds, stand and watch the tomatoes ripen, or give the compost a twirl with the worm. Even if it doesn’t work, it still helps quell the panic of the blank white screen.
