Fun Weekend Garden Links

by linette on June 15th, 2008

strawberry rhubarb crunch I haven’t done a links post here for a couple weeks, so I have several stored up. Enjoy!

Barrels are not just for wine, they make wonderful container gardens.

Your cats will be thrilled if you grow your own catnip.

Here’s a list of 30 things you can compost.

You can root rosemary in water, I’ve never tried this, but I love rosemary so I bet I try it this fall for a few plants to have indoors over the winter.

I wrote up my favorite recipe for Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch over at Robust Cooking. Trust me it’s delicious! Baking Delights has Vanilla Rose Ice Cream to go with it.

There’s also a recipe for Quinoa Stuffed Peppers from Sandy. These sound really good too. They’re wheat, and dairy free.

Junk Creation has some scrap metal yard art created by my father in law, check ‘em out!

Check out these really cool recyclable bags for leaves.

Have a great weekend!

I have four cats and I grow my own catnip. The cats love it. It also attracts other outdoor cats from the neighborhood, but that is great because cats are excellent at catching things like chipmunks, mice, moles, voles, etc. I like having the cats visit my yard.
    Nice links. Thanks.
