The B5Media network:

Daylight Savings Time Begins March 8th

I just discovered this weekend that Daylight Savings Time begins March 8th. Woot! Living in the midwest I love it when the time changes and the days start getting longer during the spring and summer.

Before 2007 the dates the time changed were the  first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October. But now Daylight Savings Time begins on the second Sunday in March and goes to the first Sunday in November. This adds over a month more of daylight savings, yay!

I know many of you don’t have that time change. For me it always seems like spring when the days get longer, so I’m looking forward to next weekend, then only a couple more weeks until spring is official on March 20th. It’s garden season!
