Lilac Anticipation

I showed you a photo of my almost lilac blooms the other day. I hoped they’d be in full bloom by now, but damp, cool, cloudy weather seems to have slowed them down. It’s finally sunny today so I’m hoping to bring you lilacs in full bloom later today or tomorrow.

Bloom Report ~ Cherry Blossoms

My little cherry tree is in full bloom right now. I just hope the frost warning we have for next week doesn’t turn into a freeze warning.

Almost Lilacs

I get almost as excited over flower buds as I do about the actual blooms. I think it’s the anticipation. My lilac bush is almost ready to burst into bloom. I love lilacs, and I have a perfect view of the top of the tree, and the beautiful blooms from my bedroom window.

Mother Nature Decorates for Christmas

We woke up this morning to a little Christmas bling from Mother Nature. My yard and garden are covered with snow. It’s the big fluffy snow that covers everything. The view is very festive and beautiful. It’s finally getting me in the Christmas spirit, which is a good thing since we are decorating this weekend.
Here […]

Mother Nature’s Garden

I love anything to do with nature, so when I have a chance to get a shot of Mother Nature at the most beautiful time of the year, my camera starts clicking. We recently had the opportunity to journey to the Outer Banks, and here are some of the shots I took of the changing […]
