This is a photo of my favorite garden tiller. I love it because it runs on people power (if I’m really lucky husband power), instead of gasoline.
We inherited this little tiller when we moved into our house ten years ago. It was like finding a little hidden treasure in the barn. I guess there is some truth to the saying that one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Obviously the previous owners did not think it was very valuable. They left it in the barn on a pile of junk.

I’m a huge fan of the Leatherman Hybrid Gardening Multitool , it’s a great tool for the gardener (and I’m all about gardening gadgets and tools). It has an open tooth saw, a weed remover, a pruner, screwdrivers, a bark lifter and grafting tools.
It’s great to have handy for those last minute simple jobs. I like being able to have quick access to so many tools at once, without lugging 5 different tools around. As far as gardening gadgets go this multi-purpose tool is very high on my list.

This photo shows what our yard looked like last weekend.  Snow on the ground, and ice on the trees.
