Autumn Miracles and Family Fun
Fall is my second favorite season. Winter is my first, which is odd being a gardener! I love all the colors in Autumn. It really never ceases to amaze me how everything can change so drastically and still be just as beautiful! Our new puppy, Dugal, loves chasing all the falling leaves. Not to mention that all those piles of raked leaves make great mulch for the winter season, or can be thrown into the compost bin. I love that natural mulch!
Here are some great ideas to do on your own, or with your family for fall:
Remember when I talked about the vegetable carvings? Be creative, don’t just do pumpkin carving this year, branch out to cucumbers and other squash from your garden.
How about some corn husk dolls from those husks you’ve been saving to decorate with?
Here’s a nifty idea. With the over abundance of leaves, make a fall bouquet.
Have any other fall crafts you’d like to share? Send them my way and I’ll be sure to post about them!

Dugal has not been too bad actually. He sleeps through the entire night. We take him out first thing in the morning and before bed. I suppose that’s one advantage to rescuing him from the pet store. He’s used to things being boring at night!
