A Couple Garden Fall Chores To Help Your Spring Schedule

fall garden Here are a couple things you can do this fall to help make your spring gardening schedule a little lighter.

  1. If you’re planning any new raised beds, now is a great time to build them. Let the soil settle in over the winter.
  2. Divide your perennials so they’ll be ready to go this spring.
  3. Separate bulbs that have gotten overcrowded.
  4. Plant new bulbs.
  5. Start a compost pile, it may not do much during the winter, but you’ll have a head start next spring.
  6. Check over your perennials, trees, and bushes for any signs of disease or weakness.

Can you think of any other garden chores you can get a head start on this fall?
