A Couple Garden Fall Chores To Help Your Spring Schedule
Here are a couple things you can do this fall to help make your spring gardening schedule a little lighter.
- If you’re planning any new raised beds, now is a great time to build them. Let the soil settle in over the winter.
- Divide your perennials so they’ll be ready to go this spring.
- Separate bulbs that have gotten overcrowded.
- Plant new bulbs.
- Start a compost pile, it may not do much during the winter, but you’ll have a head start next spring.
- Check over your perennials, trees, and bushes for any signs of disease or weakness.
Can you think of any other garden chores you can get a head start on this fall?
